Here’s a list of our Berea Farmers’ Market vendors. Each vendor sells the products they grow, raise, and/or process. The vendors also help keep the market functioning through their cooperative efforts with the board members and the market coordinators.

Best Family Farm

Bill Best

“We strive to grow healthy crops using heirloom and non-genetically modified seeds. As one of the people that worked to develop heirloom tomatoes, I believe in healthy food and diverse genetic strains.”

Bill sells plants, tomatoes, shuck beans, and books. He founded the market in 1974 and sells his own books on heirloom fruits, vegetables and seed saving. He is also on the board of directors.

Dave’s Green Thumb

Dave’s Green Thumb has been growing vegetables for the Berea Farmer’s Market for over 10 years. It began in 2008, when our son David was taking horticulture classes and growing vegetables on a friend’s vacant lot and at the Berea Urban Farm. It has since moved to our own property… taking up most of it! We grow a variety of naturally grown vegetables, from carrots, turnips, and kale to specialty tomatoes and cucumbers.

A Recent addition to our business has been “Dave’s Originals” artwork - framed prints and notecards by our son, depicting the beauty of our region and a host of other subjects.

In addition to their grass-fed, grain finished beef, Eades Beef also often has puppies for sale at the market.

We are a family owned farm of 40 acres where we grow berries and other fruit, various kinds of vegetables, and nut trees. We also produce baked goods on the side to bring to the market each week.

Rene’, one of the owners and operators, is also the president of the market.  Her and her husband Andy also run a full-service bed and breakfast.
